What exactly will I receive?
Each month you’ll receive a complete physical edition:
- A printed documentary-style letter about a different Catholic church
- Two double-sided photo cards featuring four original photographs
- An archive card with key details from the church
- A custom church-specific sticker
- Rotating inserts tied to that month’s edition
Everything is printed, assembled, and mailed to you. Every membership also includes the members’ gallery online.
Is this a digital membership?
No. The edition itself is entirely physical and arrives in your mailbox. The members’ gallery online is an extra that comes with it. Order and mailing confirmations are sent by email.
Is it really handmade?
Yes. I visit every church and take every photograph myself, then finish every envelope by hand: gluing in the liner, rounding the corners, sealing and stamping each one.
When does it ship?
Letters ship on or around the 15th of each month. Your first edition is the next one to ship.
Monthly memberships renew on the same calendar date as the original purchase. Annual memberships are charged at checkout for 12 editions.
You’ll receive an email confirmation once your letter has been mailed. Delivery times vary by location.
How much does it cost?
Membership is $15 per month or $150 for 12 editions. The annual option includes 12 editions for the price of 10.
Worldwide shipping is included with every membership.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Monthly members can cancel anytime through the customer portal; cancel before your next billing date and you won’t be charged again. Annual memberships renew yearly at $150. You can turn off renewal anytime, and your 12 editions still arrive.
Can I give this as a gift?
Yes. Gift memberships come in 3 months ($45), 6 months ($75, one edition free) or 12 months ($150, two editions free), on the gift page. You pay once and they never renew. Write your gift note on the gift page before you check out, then enter your recipient’s name and address under Shipping at checkout. Your note is printed on a small card and tucked into their first letter.
Can I buy a past edition?
Yes. Past editions are $15 each, $12 for members, and $13 each when you buy 3 or more. Every past edition at once comes to $12 each. Each order is mailed within a few days.
What is the members’ gallery?
Every edition has an online gallery with the full set of photographs from the visit, at full size. Members log in with the email they joined with to see all of it, and anyone can see the first photograph. The QR code on the card in your envelope opens that month’s gallery, which opens on the 15th.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Letters From Joseph ships worldwide at no added shipping cost. International editions are sent by standard international letter mail, so delivery may take longer depending on the destination.
Will I receive the same church twice?
Each month features a different church, and every edition is treated as a limited physical release.
Is this affiliated with a specific parish or diocese?
Letters From Joseph is an independent Catholic creative project. It is not operated by or limited to a particular parish or diocese.
